In this session, Dr Shiri Lejay, Consultant Paediatrician, will demystify how to manage emergencies including Basic Life Support and Choking in a relaxed and gentle way.

Hypnobirthing

In this session, she will explain the benefits of Hypnobirthing practice can have on labour and delivery. She will give you some tools that can help you experience a more peaceful birth experience.

Becoming a mother is rewarding but also rife with challenges and the transition to motherhood can be very difficult. This session focuses on the identity shift that takes place as you transition into motherhood, by helping you define your values and setting value-based goals and actions.
Coughing, noisy breathing and other respiratory diseases
Wednesday 15th February 2023 at 8pm
Consultant Paediatrician Dr Shiri Lejay will describe how to recognise laboured breathing and different types of breathing difficulties (such as coughing and wheezing). She will also give advice on how to manage the symptoms and underlying problems, as well as the red flag signs to look out for. Conditions covered include bronchiolitis, viral-induced-wheeze, croup and chest infections. There will also be plenty of time to ask questions.


Speech and Language development in the first two years

Nisha Mistry is a Speech and Language therapist and founder of The Therapy Place. In this session, she will help you to understand typical language milestones and what to expect and learn some simple strategies that will help boost your little one’s communication skills.
Weaning

Consultant Paediatrician Dr Shiri Lejay will explain the process of weaning, debunk some myths regarding weaning and allergies, and answer questions. She will also teach you how to distinguish between gagging and choking, and how to manage these.


Healthy eating made easy for mums

Nutrition Coach Candy Duval (Slim with Candy) shares her expert knowledge on how to make healthy choices when battling fatigue, breastfeeding and stress. Her focus is on finding the balance, making conscious choices and to enjoy food. She will share tips and trick on meal planning and meal prep, quick meal ideas and the importance of eating beautiful, colourful varied meals that you enjoy.
